Ruben e' nato a Milano nell'ottobre del 1970. Ha iniziato a suonare professionalmente nell' ormai lontanissimo 1985. Sebbene ancora giovane ha maturato una grandissima esperienza macinando date e chilometri ed esibendosi su innumerevoli palchi.​
Ha all'attivo due CD solisti ( I HATE TO SING THE BLUES-2004 e THIS-2012), Uno registrato in coppia con il suo fedele amico nonché " Chicago Blues Legend" Steve Arvey(\(\( TUTTU BENI?!?!-2012) ed un doppio cd dal vivo registrato con i Mr. Saturday Night Special, una delle prime " Tribute Band" Italiane che ancora oggi propone l'indimenticato ed indimenticabile repertorio dei primi LYNYRD SKYNYRD: Manifesto del Southern Rock.

Apprezzato sideman, accompagna in Europa molti cantautori Americani che fanno affidamento sulla sua profonda conoscenza del linguaggio sonoro Statunitense. Fra gli altri Ricordiamo Ashleigh Flynn, Don DiLego, Ian Foster, Tony Trishcka,Jayne Kelly, Kellie Rucker ed il già citato Steve Arvey.
Ruben è uno dei pochissimi artisti Italiani ( Se non l'unico) a poter annoverare fra le proprie esperienze tanto la partecipazione al Festival Blues di CHICAGO nel 2008, anno in cui è stato votato dal CHICAGO BLUES MAGAZINE: " ARTIST OF THE WEEK"quanto la presenza all' OWENSBORO (KY) BLUEGRASS IBMA FESTIVAL nel 2001, dimostrando in questo modo di essere un artista completo e poliedrico.
-Oggi Ruben ama proporre dal vivo le proprie composizioni contenute nei cd "I HATE TO SING THE BLUES" e " THIS" da solo o accompagnato dai fidi
" Good Ole Manners".
-Suona Bluegrass con I "RUBEN & MATT and the Truffle Valley boys" : Hard touring band che calca i palchi dei più festigiosi festivals a livello mondiale.
-Si scatena in pindarici voli psico-country prestando la propria voce e la propria chitarra Elettrica nei "NO ROLLING BACK" insieme al suo " Long time companion Luca Crippa aka Curtis Loew e la mitica sezione ritmica dei "Ritmo Tribale " e "No Guru" Alex "TRIBALEX Marcheschi ed Andrea "BRIEGEL" FILIPAZZI reinterpretando i classici dell'Alternative Country e del cantautorato Americano.

Suona in Duo con l'amico MATTEO RINGRESSI proponendo un repertorio filologicamente dedicato agli albori della musica tradizionale. Hanno pubblicato nel dicembre 2012 un CD dal titolo " 13 tunes in a sepia tone" che continua a ricevere entusiastiche critiche.

RUBEN MINUTO
Ruben was born in Milan in October 1970. He started playing professionally in the 'now distant 1985. Although still young, he gained a lot of experience grinding dates and miles and performing on countless stages.
He has released two solo CDs ("I HATE TO SING THE BLUES" and "THIS"-2004 and 2012), another one recorded with his faithful friend and "Chicago Blues Legend" Steve Arvey (Tuttu BENI!! -2012) And a double CD recorded live with Mr. Saturday Night Special, one of the first "Tribute Band" Italian that still today offers the unforgettable and memorable repertoire of the first LYNYRD SKYNYRD: Manifesto of Southern Rock.
Valued sideman, he tourswith several musicians all thru' in Europe, many Americans who rely on its deep knowledge of the language of the sound of American Music. Among others we Recall Ashleigh Flynn, Don DiLego, Ian Foster, Tony Trishcka, Jayne Kelly, Kellie Rucker and the already mentioned Steve Arvey.
Ruben is one of the few Italian artists (if not the only) to be able to count among its experiences both the participation in the CHICAGO BLUES FESTIVAL in 2008, the year in which he was voted by CHICAGO BLUES MAGAZINE: "ARTIST OF THE WEEK" and the presence in the OWENSBORO (KY) IBMA BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL in 2001, thereby demonstrating to be a complete and versatile artist.
-Today Ruben loves to play live his own compositions contained in "I HATE TO SING THE BLUES" and "THIS" as well solo or accompanied by his trusting companions: the "Good Ole Manners."
-He's lead singer and guitar player in "RUBEN & MATT and the Truffle Valley boys : A hard Touring band travelling and Working worldwide for the major bluegrass festivals
-He also likes to set his mind free in free fancy psycho-country flights lending his voice and his electric guitar in "NO ROLLING BACK" with his "Long time companion Luca Crippa aka Curtis Loew and the legendary rhythm section of" RITMO TRIBALE "and" No Guru "Alex" TRIBALEX Marcheschi and Andrea "Briegel" Filipazzi reinterpreting the classics of the Alternative Country and American singer-songwriter scene.
He is currently also working on a Duo Project along with Matteo Ringressi ( Banjo player in Bluegrass stuff) studying and playing the origins of Americana: Brother Duets, Carter Style and early Bluegrass. They have released their first CD " 13Tunes in a Sepia Tone" .
